VoiceIQ Selects Q9 To Host New Voice-to-Text Transcription Service

Calgary, AB and Toronto, ON - February 10, 2004 - Q9 Networks Inc., the leading Canadian provider of outsourced Internet infrastructure and related managed IT services, is pleased to announce it has been awarded a contract by VoiceIQ (www.voiceiq.com) to host its new Web-based voice-to-text transcription software, Netscribe. Under the agreement, Q9 is providing a managed hosting solution consisting of data centre space, high-availability bandwidth and firewall services.

Netscribe provides courts, medical offices and legislative assemblies with the ability to capture, store and transcribe digital audio files in near real-time. Hosted from Q9's data centre in Toronto, the service was recently purchased by New Zealand and Australian government agencies.
