Q9 data centres are specifically designed to maximize the security and availability of mission-critical computing environments. Our customers rely on us to protect and support what are often their most critical business assets. We take the physical security of our data centres, and the customer environments hosted within them, very seriously.
All Q9 data centres are staffed 7 x 24 with professional security officers. Secure, bullet-resistant entrances are equipped with biometric access controls to restrict access to each Q9 data centre to only authorized Q9 and customer representatives.
Each site is covered by extensive video surveillance. Movement of equipment and personnel is monitored at all times and strictly controlled, both into and out of each data centre. Video surveillance is archived for future reference.
In addition to the security operations at each site, Q9 maintains a centralized Security Coordination Centre, which monitors Q9 facilities and acts as an escalation point for local security personnel. The Q9 Security Coordination Centre operates 7 x 24.
